Hello Fellow Athletic Trainers,
The land of enchantment never seems to disappoint us, the weather is cooling off; finally, so lets look forward to the end of fall and the opening of winter sports.Time to send in your requests for coverage of fall sport state competition. Contact Missy Archibeck for the sign up. If you have wrestling please contact your local assessor to get your teams signed up as the first day to do so is Nov 1st.
The NATA and BOC have changed the process of renewal you will be getting an email and a letter in the mail, please pay attention to the information and the deadlines and more importantly the cost associated with each. Your Membership is very important, so please renew your membership.
SAVE THE DATE, our state meeting in Las Cruces on June 1,2,3 2012. If you are interested in speaking or you know of someone who would like to present please contact Jim Schapekahm our southern rep for more information. If you are interested in running
for office please have your nominations sent to TJ Fails the sect/ tres before the start of the year.
There has been a large interest in injury prevention for youth sports nationally, we as a state association are actively engaged in communication with our national leaders, please voice your opinions and you’re your concerns to your national and local leaders about
the reasons for having athletic trainers at all events. We hope that you remain active and vocal. If you have any concerns please feel free to contact one of us and we will do our best to assist you.
